Women’s Rules and General Terms and Conditions.
1. At 1200 all the team captains must report to the organising committee where they will have a short briefing from the umpires followed by the commencement of the first match.
2. The draw will be drawn on the 21 th of July 2024 after receiving team application forms and entrance fee £60 to the organisers before 18 th of July 2023.
3. This tournament manly aim for Sri Lankan players lives in UK.
4. All players must wear suitable clothing and it is the responsibility of each team to provide all the necessary protective gears. The organisers will not be held liable in the event of any injury.
5. All captains, players and spectators are informed that they must take full responsibility of the Health and Safety of themselves and especially their children throughout the day and fallow the guideline,
6. Before start of any game the two participating teams shall provide scorers, one per team. All scoring shall be finalised at the end of each match.
7. Delay to the starting time of a match will result in the team losing over’s of their batting innings. Up to 5 minutes grace is allowed. Then there will be a reduction of one batting over from 5 minutes up to 10 minutes delay. Two batting over’s from 10 minutes up to 15 minutes delay and After 30 min the match will be abandoned (each side must play a minimum of 3 over’s). If one team is ready with minimum 5 players, at the starting time and the other team is late, then the late comers will lose batting over/s as above. After 20 minutes the match will be conceded to the team that is present where the team that
is ready with minimum 5 players will be declared winners and the no-show side shall be declared the losers. If both teams are late at the starting time but one team arrive earlier, (before the 20 minutes deadline) the team that is ready to play with the minimum 5 players, will have the advantage of the above rules. The team arriving second will lose Batting over’s according to the above guidelines. If both teams are more than 20 minutes late, the match will be abandoned. Both teams will be declared losers and will get Zero points.
Note: Please be advised of the above time keeping Rules and keep in mind that they will be implemented thoroughly in aim of smooth operation and completion of all matches on schedule.
Game Rules
• All teams could name 10 players playing squad should be 7 Players each match. Fielding substitutes can be made but the Substitute player is not allowed to Bat or Ball.
• All match batting from one end.
• Each team need bring own bats and balls. If need extra equipment please contact organizer early possible.
• All matches are 5 over’s per side, however due to adverse weather or other circumstances, the number of over’s may be reduced or number of balls per over May reduced to 3 0r 4 (minimum of 3 over’s).
• Only 1 over per bowler each game is allowed but in the event of an injury to a bowler any another player to complete that over. That player cannot bowl any more over’s in that game or cannot have completed his allocated over.
• In case of injury to batmen while in the game not allowed taking extra runner.
• 2 Runs will be awarded for a WIDE BALL and a NO BALL and an EXTRA BALL shall be bowled.
• If the ball bounces twice before the batsman will be a NO BALL, EXRA BALL and 2 runs will be awarded.
• The winner of a match will be declared based on the total number of runs scored. For incomplete matches the winner will be declared based on the total number of runs scored at the end of the 3 rd over.
• In the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by playing a Super Over. Two points will be awarded to the winning team and 0 Points to the losers.
• All players are informed, please respect that the umpires and the organisers decisions are the final.

By signing the team application form all the captains and the players declare the acceptance of the tournament rules and the other health and safety information. All participants are kindly requested to maintain a good gentleman like behaviour throughout the whole day and help to make this wonderful cricket event a huge success. And the organisers appreciate your participation and support in achieving this.
